Position Summary

Works to detect, prevent and mitigate safety risks. Provides subjectmatter expertise on field observations and provides consultation andguidance on corrective action development. Collaborates with andsupports line of businesses on safety issues. Communicates safetytrends and recommends corrective actions. Serves as a resource for thedevelopment, implementation, and sustainability of the variouscompanywide safety initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum:

High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma

Relevant experience, 5 years

^Ability to have or obtain Safety professional certification, initial level, for example, ASP, CHST, CUSP, OHST, within 1 year of job placement

Desired:

Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or job-related discipline or equivalent experience

Safety professional certification, for example, CIH, CSP, CHMM
