Volta Oil is searching for a Facilities and It Systems Administrator. This key support role will provide frontline IT and facilities support to store locations and the corporate office. This role ensures the timely resolution of technology and facility-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service to internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable balancing both IT and facilities responsibilities in a multi-site environment.
Essential Functions:

- Provide first-level IT support to end users across retail locations and the corporate office
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues
- Manage and prioritize requests through the maintenance and IT ticketing system
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely issue resolution
- Oversee facility-related requests to maintain safe, compliant, and well-maintained buildings and equipment
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with established procedures, standards, and vendor agreements
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders on status updates and resolutions
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service with a positive and professional approach
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting teams, and keeping systems and facilities running smoothly. A successful candidate will have many (but not necessarily all) of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- 4–5 years of experience working in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
- Experience supporting users in a retail, multi-location, or fast-paced environment (a plus, not a requirement)
- Comfort working with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong skills in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs and related hardware
- Working knowledge of internet connectivity, networking, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and POS equipment
- Experience using IT ticketing systems (such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira) to manage and prioritize requests
- Ability to create clear, organized documentation and follow established processes
- Experience coordinating with vendors or service providers, including managing timelines and expectations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects or requests at once
- A proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving — you don’t just fix issues, you help prevent them
