Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology; Marketing; Science/Engineering; or a related degree. 36 months' experience as Sales Director; Segment Director; Business Development Manager; Head of Sales; or related occupation in commercial leadership in mining software industry. Experience is required and must include the following:
- Leveraging mining and industrial software solutions across the full mining value chain including how to position, promote and sell the software solutions.
- Leading a team of geographically dispersed mining and industrial software solutions sellers (both domestically and internationally).
- Developing a team to drive revenue growth and market share inclusive of customer support retention and management.
Position allows for 100% remote work and reports to the office in Denver, Colorado. 30-40% domestic and international travel for meetings with customers, global meetings with company leadership, and conferences.
Duties
Responsible for leading the company's North American business units, consisting of all operating entities within the USA and Canada markets. The role includes accountability for overall profit and loss, with a primary focus on driving profitable revenue growth and accelerating market share attainment; through the marketing, sales, delivery and support of the company's full suite of specialized mining software solutions and services.
The company has a comprehensive suite of over 30 software solutions that span the full mining value chain from Exploration through Geology, Mine Planning, Production, through logistics and delivery of saleable product to end customers. The suite also includes advanced information management solutions including analytics and reporting, and laboratory information management systems.
A key focus of the role is to execute a business plan inclusive of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to support the broader growth and adoption of the company's software portfolio within strategic and regional accounts. Proactive business and market development with a priority on driving enterprise agreements via corporate and executive level engagement; collaborating with the company's Global Product Managers; Marketing; Business leaders to enable proactive adoption, uptake and retainment of the full suite of the company's software
solutions and services aligned with corporate KPI's.
