Manages GTC's human resources strategy, planning, and developmental leadership functions. Responsibilities will include the following key areas: researching and implementing best practice human resources programs, employee relations, workforce planning, career development and training, recruiting and selection, and associated compliance. Provides leadership and direction while developing, implementing, and communicating corporate human resources programs, promoting an environment of continuous improvement, and meeting established corporate goals and objectives in the best interests of GTC's employees and the Members. Works closely with Sr. Management to achieve strategic initiatives. Serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors on strategic Human Resources initiatives. Serves as HIPAA Privacy Officer and EEO Compliance Officer for the corporation.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Administration, Business, O.D., or related field.
Experience: Fifteen years of Human Resources experience with at least eight years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity with increasing responsibilities. Broad-based skills in at least three of the following areas: compensation, benefits, recruiting/staffing, employee/labor relations, organizational development, leadership/management development, or employee training and development.
Equivalent Experience: Fifteen additional years of experience as outlined above.
Licenses, Certification, and/or Registrations: PHR or SPHR preferred.
Specialized Skills: Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills. Must possess the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and be familiar with change as a constant.
