The

Equipment Operator

will work a maximum of 40 hours per week maintaining our dump yard. This person must be experienced in operating dozer’s, excavator, and backhoe.

Roles And Responsibilities

- Operate equipment such as Dozer’s, Excavator & Backhoes and other machinery as assigned.

- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks

- Load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently

- Assist with site preparation and yard cleanups.

- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and safety issues

- Report equipment malfunctions, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately

Success Factors

- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions.

- Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instruction

- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-worker

- Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy

- English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports

- Skills in operating heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely

- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment

Experience And Education

- 1+ years of experience operating dozers, excavator and backhoes

- Standard Driver License Required

- Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
