Position: Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Administrative Assistant
Compensation Range: $50,000 annually, based on experience
Location: San Antonio, TX 78247 - Main Office

- Provide high-level administrative and technical support to the EHS department to ensure efficient daily operations and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate and organized EHS documentation, including training records, inspections, incident reports, and audit materials.
- Manage safety data entry, tracking, and reporting within EHS software platforms and third-party compliance systems.
- Monitor employee training and certification compliance; proactively notify leadership of expirations and required updates.
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly EHS performance reports, tracking key safety metrics and trends.
- Support MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and EPA compliance through accurate recordkeeping and audit preparation.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for safety meetings, training sessions, inspections, and audits.
- Serve as a liaison between field operations, safety personnel, and management regarding EHS documentation and communication.
- Assist with PPE, safety supply purchasing, inventory management, and distribution.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) libraries and chemical inventory documentation.
- Supportincident tracking, trend analysis, and corrective action follow-up.
- Distribute safety communications, bulletins, toolbox talks, and training materials to field and office teams.
- Assist with environmental documentation and compliance reporting as assigned.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and implementation of new EHS systems and tools.
· Strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail.
· Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Prior experience supporting EHS or operations teams.
· Familiarity with MSHA, OSHA, or DOT compliance requirements.
· Experience with safety management systems such as HCSS, SiteDocs, BuildWitt, or Samsara.
· Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety in all tasks.
