Electronics Engineering Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electronic Engineering Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic systems and components. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on electromagnetic sensing systems that require a blend of electronic engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and assemble electronic circuits, systems and components.

- Read/Create detailed schematics, technical drawings using CAD software like DesignWorks/Solid Works.

- Conduct system analysis, debugging ,and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all phases of design and implementation.

Requirements

- Strong proficiency in electronic engineering principles combined with mechanical knowledge relevant to integrated system design.

- Expertise in CAD software including DesignWorks/SolidWorks for drafting and schematics creation.

- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French are a plus.

- Laboratory experience related to electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, testing meters.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities along with effective time management skills.

- Ability to analyze complex systems critically while maintaining attention to detail in schematic design and documentation.

- Hands on assembly experience and strong soldering skills are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
