Responsible for the design, development, alteration, or modification of shelter drawings and electrical systems as assigned by the department manager.
- Prepares a wide variety of detailed drawings for the shelter and Electrical design and is responsible for their accuracy.
- Breaks down information obtained from the bid letter, customer specification, and customer supplied drawings to do shelter design.
- Makes a variety of calculations (AC service, HVAC, energy, and structural) following standard procedures.
- Prepare work orders (detailed BOM) while drawings are in progress.
- Renders technical assistance to factory personnel, sales staff or customers as needed. Possible travel as needed.
- Performs other assigned duties as required by department manager.
Technical ability in the Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical fields.
Computer programs: Windows, Word, Excel, and the latest release of (AutoCAD/Revit. Required)
- Design : 3 years (Required)
- Electrical : 3 years (Required)
- Four (4) years Electrical Engineering degree or at least 3 years on the job education
- Electrical Engineering/Designing experience.
- Experience Certificates, Licenses or Registrations
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer programs: Windows, Word, Excel, and the latest release of AutoCAD/Revit.
- Knowledge of algebra and geometry and mathematical formulas.
