Electrical Designer - full time - Auto CAD required

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and proficiency in CAD software. The Electrical Designer will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs that meet project timelines and requirements.

Duties

- Design electrical & lighting payout, load calculation, fire alarm layout, and fill all energy forms for all commercial and residential buildings

Skills

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in AutoCAD. Very proficiency with AutoCAD design

- Minimum 5 years' building electrical design- Large commercial and high rise building design experience required.

- Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical distribution design

- Etap experience preferred, protection coordination study experience preferred

- Good knowledge of power distribution and lighting in buildings

- Basic Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Codes & standards

- Ability to handle multiple projects.
