Dispatcher III (Nights)

Overview:

The Dispatcher III supports operations by coordinating and monitoring transportation activities to ensure the safe, efficient movement of materials, production water, and service work. This role requires strong organizational skills, real-time decision-making, and clear communication with field personnel, office teams, and vendors. Transportation management and oilfield experience are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and dispatch transportation activities to support field operations.

- Communicate clearly and effectively with vendors, field and office teams, and ADAPTS teams.

- Assign, track, and record workflows using transportation management systems including Gemini, OpenInvoice/OpenTicket, Airtable, and Excel.

- Receive and coordinate job orders from field personnel via phone, email, and work order systems related to hauling, disposal of industrial/environmental waste, production water, and service work.

- Monitor driver activity and job status in real time; resolve issues or discrepancies quickly to minimize operational impact.

- Maintain continuous communication with operational and management personnel, including urgent updates via phone/text as needed.

- Create and maintain accurate daily logs of all work in progress.

- Provide end-of-shift status updates and daily summary reports.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- 2+ yrs. of Oil and Gas dispatching or transportation coordination experience required.

- Experience working night shifts and rotating schedules.

- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, real-time operational environments.

- Proficiency with dispatching or transportation systems and Excel.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

- Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background and drug test.
