The Senior Data Manager serves as both a technical authority in data engineering and a strategic enabler for Procurement, acting as the primary liaison between Procurement and IT. This role owns the architecture and ongoing maintenance of Procurement’s Fabric environment while contributing to multidisciplinary teams to establish enterprise standards for data governance, process modeling, and AI-ready information structures; ensuring Procurement operates from a trusted and unified “single source of truth.” In addition to deep technical capability, this role leverages proven experience in Procurement and Finance processes, functioning as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) who bridges business context with advanced technical execution.
Beyond traditional data engineering, the role plays a pivotal part in AI agentic orchestration and KPI reporting, ensuring automated agent ecosystems and Fabric workspaces receive accurate, timely, and properly structured data. The engineer translates real business needs into AI-consumable formats and directly contributes to the enterprise’s AI strategy. By documenting, standardizing, and scaling its solutions, the Senior Data Manager collaborates across functions to drive consistency, improve operational efficiency, reinforce compliance, and enhance decision quality across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement by defining and translating Procurement process needs into clear data and integration requirements, ensuring IT delivers solutions aligned with business objectives and Procurement’s “single source of truth.
- Promote safety and quality in the design and execution of the data-lake architecture by defining data models, structures, and governance rules while coordinating with other functions for delivery.
- Be a catalyst for success by enabling AI agentic orchestration and metrics reporting; shaping datasets and logic, organizing structured and unstructured information into well-mapped, tech-friendly formats that power automated workflows and agentic ecosystems.
- Elevate culture and people by mentoring junior engineers and promoting data engineering best practices within the team to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement by partnering with IT, SMEs, and technical teams to validate and refine data outputs; ensuring accuracy, consistency, lineage, and enterprise usability before they move into operational use.

- Document, standardize, and produce scalable, highly replicable Procurement data and AI-orchestration frameworks that expand business value, enable other functions to adopt proven patterns, and ensure solutions remain repeatable and enterprise-ready

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a data professional or business analyst fully integrated into Procurement or adjacent functions, combining strong technical capability with practical understanding of procurement operations.
- Experience working in Procurement alongside buyers and sourcing teams, with strong familiarity of the end-to-end purchasing process.
- Experience with procurement reporting practices, including savings initiatives, CAPEX and OPEX reporting, and related performance tracking.
- Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable processes, including payment reconciliation and three-way match within the R2P cycle.
- Familiarity with procurement policies, audit procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated track record in ERP integrations, large scale ETL initiatives, data warehouse design, or cloud native data architectures.
- Knowledge of coding and data transformation languages such as Python, SQL, JSON, M-Code, PowerQuery, and DAX is required.
- Manage data lakes, Data extraction using API connections, Job configurations and workflow schedules.
- Understanding and exposure to AI technologies, with familiarity of the AI orchestration landscape and hands-on experience interacting with AI-driven workflows.
- Expertise in Cloud and Analytics: Experience with OCI, AWS (Datanet, Cradle, Work-Bench), GCP; tools like Oracle Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, PowerApps.
- Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud, ODI, Golden-Gate, Apache Airflow, Informatica, DBT, Alteryx
Proficient in procurement platforms such as Ivalua, Ariba, SAP, and Cirtuo, with a strong understanding of key procurement performance indicators including Compliance Rate, Purchase Order Accuracy, Defect Rate, Inventory Aging, Turnover Ratio, Lead Times, Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) Cycle Time, Cost Reduction, Cost Avoidance, and Spend Under Management.
- Certifications in data, ETL, analytics, or reporting technologies are highly preferred (PowerBi, Tableu, Google Data Studio)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
