- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting data engineering and analytics systems
- Working experience with batch and real-time data processing frameworks
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational and non-relational databases, schemas, and storage design
- Experience with data quality tools and implementing data validation rules
- Ability to create thorough functional and technical designs
- Experience integrating and modeling data from diverse source types
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hadoop, HIVE, Spark)
- Experience with statistical modeling or ML development using Python, R, or similar technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

- Build optimized data models, database schemas, and scalable storage solutions supporting BI, analytics, and ML workflows
- Implement data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and consistency
- Create functional and technical documentation for data engineering and analytics solutions
- Integrate diverse internal and external data sources while ensuring proper transformation, validation, and performance optimization
- Utilize big data tools such as Hadoop, HIVE, and Spark to process and manage large datasets
- Support AI/ML and statistical modeling initiatives using Python, R, or similar tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data products
- Follow best practices for data governance, security, performance tuning, and lifecycle management
