Are you a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with experience in Manufacturing Customer Service? We’re seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative to help drive quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you’ll work closely with multiple departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipments meet customer specifications and deadlines.
This position will interactively work with the Sales Department, Quoting, Engineering, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Shipping, Accounting, and External Customers to facilitate on-time shipments of customer orders according to customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, balancing customer needs with company goals to ensure each decision benefits both the customer and the organization.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional communication via phone and email
- Enter and verify customer purchase orders (parts, pricing, delivery dates, terms, etc.)
- Coordinate with Sales, Quoting, Engineering, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Shipping, Accounting and External Customers to ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment
- Prepare job packets and dock tracks for the production floor to support scheduling and workflow
- Monitor and update customers on order status; expedite as needed to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain quote folders and related documentation
- Manage shipping schedules and proactively communicate any changes or delays
- Answer incoming calls, assist customers, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently to maintain strong relationships and support company objectives

- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing or administrative role in manufacturing or production
- Previous experience with ERP systems (Global Shop preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and order management is a plus

There is an opportunity to earn a sign-on perfect attendance bonus of $250 at 30 days, 60 days, 90 days and 120 days. Total sign-on bonus is $1,000
