We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Contract IT Services Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT support across a multi-site organization with remote users. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of servers, workstations, network infrastructure, cloud environments, and business-critical applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, security-focused, and capable of supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
•Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment across multiple physical and remote sites.
•Administer user accounts, permissions, and devices, ensuring alignment with security protocols and user experience standards.
•Monitor and maintain system/network performance using internal RMM tools to ensure uptime, security, and responsiveness.
•Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize disruption to operations.
•Support managed security initiatives, including Sophos MDR and Sophos Email Security, to protect the organization from cybersecurity threats.
•Manage the 8x8 VoIP system, including deployment, configuration, and user support across locations.
•Enforce robust IT security policies, including access control, firewall rules, endpoint protection, and backup strategies.
•Perform system and software upgrades in line with lifecycle and support requirements.
•Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
•Support SharePoint Online environment: managing structure, site provisioning, and permissions.
•Maintain and administer the Sage Intacct ERP system, including user roles and integrations.
•Oversee Airtable system management to support team collaboration and operational workflows.
•Provision new users and devices, ensuring seamless onboarding with all required IT resources.
•Provide responsive Tier 1–2 technical support both remotely and in-person, as needed.
•Manage cloud services and collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure consistent service delivery.
•Review, revise, and implement IT policies, procedures, and controls to meet evolving business and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience in IT administration in a multi-site or hybrid environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows OS, network infrastructure, and endpoint management.
•Experience with Sophos security tools, VoIP systems (8x8 preferred), SharePoint Online, Sage Intacct, and Airtable.
•Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT best practices.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and work independently with minimal supervision.
•Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

•Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or relevant vendor-specific credentials.
•Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses in a contractor or MSP capacity.
