Turnkey Modular Systems Inc. (TKMS) is a custom fabricator with an in-house team of professionals dedicated to the engineering, design, fabrication and delivery of Integrated Process Modular Systems.
Our services include Preliminary and Detailed Process Design, 3-D Modeling, Modular Construction, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Installation, Start-Up and Commissioning.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to manage and maintain our organization's computer systems, software, hardware, and networks. The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. A strong focus for this roll will involve onboarding and maintaining applications and systems to ensure efficient operation of the business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintenance of all IT systems, with a focus on maximizing efficiencies and performance.
•Competently support servers and cloud based infrastructure and resolve complex technical problems promptly.
•Develop and maintain operational processes, policies, and procedures to ensure the safe and reliable operation of technical infrastructure.
•Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and oversee risk management efforts to mitigate potential technical issues.
•Lead and manage the proper application of ITIL methodologies and IT best practices in all areas of IT (inc. change control, incident management, ITSM etc.)
•Monitor performance metrics, review incident reports, and implement corrective actions.
•Provide hands-on technical support as needed and work collaboratively with other department teams to deliver integrated solutions.
•Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
•Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.
•Design and conduct training programs for staff.
•Conduct regular system audits.
•Produce and share regular operation system reports with senior staff.
•Manage IT hardware inventory and determine timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
•Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
•Work in partnership with internal teams to understand their business needs; and collaborate to develop technology that enables core business processes supporting integrated systems across the organization.
•Implement and manage an internal ticketing system in order to provide support to users.
•Deploy remote monitoring and management system and ensure expedient resolution of issues to both remote and on-site IT system users.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience.
•7 years of relevant experience in IT support and management
•5+ years of experience in a complex technical environment.
•Excellent technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
•Experience with Cisco network systems and Cisco IOS
•Strong understanding of virtualized environments, hyper-converged infrastructure, and high availability.
•Strong technical skills in integrating and connecting IT systems (i.e. ERP, PDM, AD)
•Experience with configuring and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server and databases.
•Experience with CAD software and Product Data Management systems.
•Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server OS as well as Linux Server OS
•Understanding of end-to-end operational processes, ITIL, and Risk Management.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver solutions.
•Innovative and proactive with a desire to implement new technologies.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service oriented mindset.
•Experience assembling detailed action plans, setting realistic goals, and demonstrating accountability.
•Strong communication skills including the ability to deliver knowledgeable and well-articulated reasoning and recommendations
•Willingness to work flexible schedule.

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
