Avantus is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Administrator to support our Development Team in advancing clean energy projects across our markets. This role will focus on administering and managing services contracts, ensuring timely execution, compliance, invoicing, payment, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and brings a collaborative mindset to help push contracts forward and keep development timelines on track.
- Administer services contracts throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
- Track contract status, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Development, Environmental, Land) and external partners to facilitate contract preparation, reviews, and execution.
- Coordinate the processing and payment of invoices with Development and Accounts Payable.
- Maintain organized records and databases of contracts, amendments, invoices, payments, and related documentation.
- Support the Development Team in identifying contract bottlenecks and proactively resolving issues.
- Assist in reviewing third-party agreements for consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and project-specific needs.
- Provide regular updates to Development leadership on contract progress and outstanding itemsREQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in business administration, preferably in contract administration.
- Familiarity with renewable energy, infrastructure development, or real estate is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Contract Lifecycle Management software, Concur, and Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
