Communications Intern

to join our team. The Marketing Communications Intern will support the communications and marketing team in developing, proofreading, and executing internal and external communication initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media, multimedia production, and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

- Support marketing and communications teams in planning, developing, and executing marketing initiatives

- Proofread corporate and internal communications materials for clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment

- Assist with drafting and scheduling social media posts across various platforms

- Capture and edit photography and videography content for marketing and communications use

- Edit short-form videos for social media and internal communications

- Assist with employee events, campaigns, and other unplanned or time-sensitive activities as needed

- Maintain organized files and project documentation

- Complete assigned tasks thoroughly while maintaining a positive, professional attitude

Qualifications And Expectations

We are looking for enthusiastic students who meet the following criteria:

- Positive attitude with an aptitude for completing tasks thoroughly

- Self-motivated, hardworking, and dependable

- Curious, fast-learning, and resourceful

- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Comfortable collaborating with team members and supporting various initiatives as needed

- Must be a second semester sophomore

Education Requirements

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

- Preferred majors include Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field

Skills Preferred

- Experience with photography and videography

- Ability to edit short videos using basic video editing tools

- Familiarity with social media platforms and content best practices
