Commercial Roofer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work on various commercial projects. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. As a Commercial Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Install and repair commercial roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and membrane.

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on roofs to identify potential issues.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks.

- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

- Conduct heavy lifting as required during the installation process.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.

- Assist in concrete forming, masonry work, and other related construction tasks as needed.

- Apply caulking and perform trim carpentry to ensure proper sealing and finishing of roofs.

Experience

- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus.

- Hands-on experience with carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing, welding, tile laying, and restoration projects is desirable.

- Previous experience on construction sites is necessary for understanding safety protocols and procedures.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
