We are seeking a seasoned residential roofing professional to join our team. This role involves cultivating relationships with homeowners and facilitating their successful experience with ESP as their chosen roofing installer. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess an entrepreneurial drive, and aspire to autonomy. This position offers the potential to expand and lead a personal sales team or organization.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed company sales goals.
- Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to ensure team members develop product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
- Monitor individual and team performance, set clear expectations, and implement accountability systems.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members to build a strong sales force.
- Communicate company vision, goals, and updates effectively to the team.
- Resolve conflicts, provide feedback, and help team members overcome challenges in the field.
- Responsible for prospecting and closing roofing sales, through online and in-person marketing efforts.
- Represent ESP Roofing professionally by becoming an expert in roofing and home improvement and by delivering excellent customer service.
- Qualify and close homeowners that meet the appropriate criteria.
- Must be able to meet with clients at times that work best with their schedules.
- Proven experience in sales leadership or management, preferably within the roofing, construction, or home improvement industry.
- Strong track record of leading teams to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales plans and growth initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both team members and clients.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to recruit, hire, train, and retain top-performing sales professionals.
- Problem-solving mindset with a “whatever-it-takes” attitude to overcome challenges.
- Must have reliable transportation and internet access.
