The Commercial Proposals Specialist will be responsible for preparing proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.
As a Commercial Proposals Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating end-to-end proposal development by reviewing customer inquiries, analyzing technical specifications, selecting appropriate equipment, and generating tailored proposals.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to secure internal approvals, negotiate contract terms, and ensure compliance with commercial and legal requirements.
- Translating customer needs into actionable solutions, guiding the process from initial inquiry to final order approval.
- Navigating complex sales cycles involving technical evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement coordination to deliver customer-centric outcomes.
- Managing relationships with strategically targeted clients to drive engagement and business growth.
- Developing and executing tailored customer engagement strategies.
Career path could be commercial operations, risk management, or technical sales.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university or college such as Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering. Industrial Distribution or equivalent will also be considered.
