The primary objectives of a Coil tubing Supervisor revolve around ensuring the successful and safe execution of operations in oil and gas wells.
- Manage and mentor personnel, equipment and materials to ensure they arrive at location on time.
- Execute successful coil tubing jobs according to design/client specification; understand rigging in/out procedures.
- Compile and update the SOP(Standard Operation Procedures) for coil tubing operations, execute coil tubing jobs in accordance with SOP.
- Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations.
- Ensure critical tasks are completed on every coil tubing job, including but not limited to disassemble/install the wellhead,pull/install the coil tubing,record the data,blowing down all units after every job.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internally with other departments, including Sales and Dispatch.
- Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
- Formulate and monitor the implementation of the maintenance plan, and accurately record the usage quantities of consumables, etc.
- Summarize and send of the coil tubing operation daily report to the PO Project Team.
- Prepare end of well, end of month, incident, abnormalities, maintenance, logbook, and end of jobs tickets and reports, or other reporting, as required.
- Implement and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service.
- Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives.
- Work with management to improve policy and procedures.
- Supervise a crew on basic primary coil tubing jobs.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate coil tubing equipment.
- A Coil tubing Supervisor's key processes revolve around ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective execution of operations in oil and gas wells.
- Strong technical knowledge of coil tubing processes, proficiency with equipment and software, effective leadership and communication, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Valid class 1 (Canada) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in some types of weather conditions.
- Able to make the maximum shift of a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule on the base and the field. The Specific Schedule will depend on the projects.
- Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others.
