Overview
A CNC Machinist is to work efficiently with minimal supervision to carry out the repair or production operations as specified in the provided job packets. CNC Lathes, essential measuring equipment and limited machine specific on-the-job training depending on experience shall be provided by the company for the accomplishment of such operations. Pay depends on experience.
- Carry out CNC lathe operations as detailed in the provided job packets according to industry standards and customer specifications.
- Set up CNC lathes with minimal supervision to correctly prepare for production tasks while minimizing machine down-time.
- Load and unload equipment between machine cycles.
- Observes and monitors gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure the machine is working properly.
- Cooperate with QA/QC personnel to maintain acceptable product quality without unnecessarily diminishing production flow.
- Effectively communicates with supervisor, providing updates on run times, scheduling, and all machine related activities.
- Mazak and Faunc experience is a plus
- Experienced in cutting pipe threads
- Basic mechanical skills
- Valid Driver's license
- Dependable transportation

- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
