CNC Laser Programmer

CNC Laser Programmer Across the Globe, Peelle is known for premium, quality design and manufacture of special lift entrance doors. We are looking for someone with experience with AutoCAD, CNC Programming (Nesting), for two sheet metal laser cutting machines. Individual will be responsible for converting AutoCAD drawings produced by our engineering department, and converting them into CNC programs using Lantek and Bysoft nesting softwares.

Experience in either software is not necessary, as training will be provided.

Preference will be given to applicants with as strong technical background, engineering and manufacturing experience.

Person must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision. Punctual, good work ethic, and regular work attendance are mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Converts AutoCAD drawings produced by our engineering department into CNC programs using Lantek and Bysoft nesting software.

· Liaises between Engineering and production to complete Nesting and any required changes in timely manner.

Qualifications:

· Min. 1+ years of AutoCAD, CNC Programming (Nesting) experience (two sheet metal laser cutting machines).

· Experience with CNC programs using Lantek and Bysoft nesting softwares would be an asset.

· Self-motivated, possesses high energy, is enthusiastic and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.

· Possess strong organizational and time management skills.

· Strong problem-solving skills and critical-thinking skills, customer service, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.

· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner, have strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal/relationship-building and presentation skills.

· Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

· Must have strong work ethics.

· Must be well organized and a self-starter.

· Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable.

· Proficient in Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), ability to use a personal computer and various software packages such word processing and spreadsheet design.

· Must be able to work up to 40 hours weekly in our Brampton facility.
