The Environmental CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste oil, recovery fluids, and other environmental materials to designated processing facilities. This role ensures the timely and accurate handling of these materials while adhering to strict safety regulations, environmental compliance standards, and company policies.

- Safely operate CDL vehicles, including tankers and vacuum trucks, following DOT and company safety guidelines.
- Load, transport, and unload waste oil, recovery fluids, and other materials in compliance with environmental and safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and operational.
- Navigate challenging delivery environments such as industrial sites, refineries, or tight urban areas, ensuring safe vehicle maneuvering.
- Connect and operate hoses and other delivery equipment, securing them to avoid spills during material transfers.
- Maintain accurate records, including manifests, inspection logs, and mileage reports.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and address scheduling changes or issues.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service, ensuring client satisfaction during service visits.
- Report spills, leaks, or other environmental incidents immediately, following company response protocols.
- Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure it remains in top working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or operating in high-risk environments.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in environmental services or hazardous materials transportation preferred.
- Valid CDL Class B (or higher) license with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
- Current Medical Certification and clean driving record required.
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with frequent pushing and pulling of hoses and equipment.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments, including exposure to various weather conditions and hazardous materials.
- Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and state environmental regulations a plus.
