We are looking for a

Capital Program Analyst

to join our Reliability team. Reporting to the Director, Reliability, you will join a team of professionals who manage and oversee the capital program, both the current year’s execution and the long term investment planning.

Key Elements Of This Role Include

- The adherence of capital projects to both internal and external governance

- Report on capital spending, forecasts and budgets

- Compiling regulatory reporting

- Contributing to the development of the Annual Capital Expenditure Plan

- Contributing to the development of individual capital project filings

- Supporting capital project owners through both PowerPlan and Final Costing processes

- Supporting the tracking of inventory and expenses to capital projects

These Skills Will Make You Successful

To thrive in this role, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies and skills listed below:

- A university degree with a focus in accounting or finance

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Comfortable learning and working with BI tools to analyze data and generate actionable insights

- Experience with PowerPlan (capital management software) would be considered an asset

- Knowledge of utility regulatory requirements

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Comfortable speaking in formal settings

- Experience managing a large budget
