Accounting Analyst

REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. We are ideally positioned to respond to the needs of an increasingly recycling-conscious world. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Analyst

REAL ALLOY is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support business operations through maintaining, updating, and reconciling financial records, ensuring accuracy in day-to-day transactions. Key responsibilities will include processing accounts payable/receivable, data entry into accounting software, reconciling balance sheet, preparing reports, execution of Physical inventory, and assisting with audit.

In this role you will:

- Perform complex journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

- Recording financial transactions (receipts, expenditures, invoices) and updating the general ledger.

- Processing vendor payments, issuing invoices to customers, and matching invoices to purchase orders.

- Assisting with monthly closings, preparing financial reports, and assisting with audits.

- Process Improvement: Review and optimize accounting systems, internal controls, and workflows for efficiency, productivity and cost savings.

- Preparation and execution of physical inventories on Assets, Spare parts, Raw material, and Finish goods, assist with data entry.

Qualifications:

Accounting Analyst

- Manufacturing industry experience preferred Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- 3–5+ years in finance or accounting.

- Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical and challenge driven.

- Proven ability to function successfully with minimal supervision.

- Ability to manage time efficiently to meet deadlines

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling), financial software (e.g., ERP systems). Experience with Oracle/ Oracle Cloud preferred
