Business Development Coordinator

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

Garney Construction is seeking a Business Development Coordinator in Kansas City, MO to support our national business development initiatives and activities. T he successful candidate will have an understanding of business development/sales activities and prior conference and event planning experience. Some travel required. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Coordinates company involvement with national trade conferences including attendee event registration, hotel reservations, exhibitor booth registration, sponsorship, including travel to conferences.

Plans, organizes and oversees client events including strategy, theme, venue, catering, etc.

Maintains registration of company’s national trade organization memberships.

Manages company’s promotional items including research / selection of items, soliciting pricing and managing inventory. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

5 Years of professional experience in similar role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
