Location: Diamond, East Bank Demerara
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and manage the company’s business development and marketing strategies in alignment with corporate goals.
•Maintain brand visibility across all digital platforms and oversee the business
•Development department’s annual budget.
•Drive revenue growth through sales initiatives, account management, client presentations, forecasting, and by maintaining a robust client prospect database.
•Build and sustain strong client relationships and represent the company at trade shows, business chambers, and client-facing events.
•Collaborate with operations and finance teams to define KPIs, lead contract kickoff meetings, and develop client-specific SOPs to ensure successful project delivery.
•Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and Local Content requirements; safeguard proprietary information and support IT, legal, and HR functions as needed.
•Oversee departmental financial operations, including AP/AR, vendor payments, budgeting, and reporting, while aligning event planning with approved financial allocations.
Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years of management experience, including 2 years as a Business Manager.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, finance, technical management, or a related field.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Projects, QuickBooks, and database tools.
•Experience in consulting or Oil & Gas is a plus.
•In-depth knowledge of logistics, import/export, and transportation regulations.
•Strong grasp of business law, compliance, and supply chain operations.
•Proven ability to analyze complex data and produce actionable insights.
•Strong leadership, project management, and operational planning skills.
•Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
•Capable of handling time-sensitive projects with accuracy and efficiency.
•Skilled in budgeting, team supervision, and business negotiation.
•High emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and stress management abilities.
