Apprentice Welder - Fabricator

Description

Our company is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of a 2nd/3rd year apprentice welder. As a Welder you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your expertise and craftsmanship to create high-quality products.

Responsibilities

- Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

- Weld in all positions with FCAW, MCAW and GMAW

- Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding projects

- Fabricate and assemble by welding components together

- Maintain and calibrate welding equipment as needed

- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Requirements

- 2nd/3rd year Alberta apprenticeship

- Minimum of 3 years of experience welding

- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques

- Must possess good hand skills with FCAW, MCAW and GMAW in all positions

- Must be able to pass weld test

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Assets

- Mechanical aptitude with assembly experience

- GTAW Experience

Compensation based on applicable experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
