DESCRIPTION

The Welding Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding various components for the production department as per drawing specifications, safety procedures, approved weld procedures and quality assurance requirements.

SKILL & TASK REQUIREMENTS

- Meets standard work requirements for fitting and welding complex level assemblies

- Demonstrates consistent ability to weld GTAW 1F-4F

- Skilled in the operation of available hand and air tools (die grinder, angle grinder, drill, skill saw, gouging etc.)

- Displays constant attention to precision measurements & details

- Demonstrates quality at source

- Ability to complete complex crane lifts

- Ability to lift 50lbs and possesses manual dexterity

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of experience

Welding Certificate, CWB certification, C-ticker or higher an asset
