The Coating Technician role is responsible for the identification and execution of projects related to the coating of gas turbine components and also the support of infrastructure business technology and productivity initiatives. This person will work directly with a process engineer in the AMRT and also with the various new make and services teams, to drive development and industrialization of lean coating programs for new make fulfilment, contractual services productivity, as well as transactional services growth.
The focus of this role is to develop, drive and industrialize coating technology for Gas Turbine Technology with a continual focus on lean principles.
This role has the ability to affect short-term and long-term business goals.
- HS diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in coating technology, thermal spray, protective coating or associated technology.
