Are you an experienced Corrosion Technician looking for a new challenge? In this position you will be responsible for executing all area corrosion programs, working in a team environment within the Transmission North area based in Fort St. John, BC.

- Conduct pipeline inspections, repairs, and coatings.

- Responsible for all area Corrosion Programs.

- Troubleshoot and monitor condition of equipment.

- Be capable of working all Unifor 4960 shifts.

- Demonstrate leadership and safety with Team and contractors.

Who you are

You have the following qualifications and skills:

Required:

- Hold a valid driver’s license.

- Basic computer skills.

Preferred:

- Ground Disturbance Supervisor Level II Training.

- Successful completion of NACE level 1 certification within a reasonable time frame.

- Knowledge of Workday (time entry and indication of maintenance requirements).

- Ability to troubleshoot and monitor work and equipment conditions.

- UT/MAG NDT experience.

- Experience maintaining CP rectifiers.

- Experience with pipeline integrity excavations, inspections and coating.
