Pipeline Integrity Resources (PIR) is a leader in supporting the integrity and performance of pipeline systems, and our success is built on the strength of our people. We’re looking for an Administrative Support Specialist who thrives on variety, loves a fast-paced environment, and can balance organization with flexibility. This role splits time between our corporate office in Longview, TX, and supporting our operations teams in the field — making it the perfect fit for someone who wants to keep their days fresh and exciting.
This isn’t your typical desk-only admin role — you’ll be at the heart of operations, helping keep projects running smoothly:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the operations team.
- Travel 2–3 days per week to job sites/locations to support field operations (yes, you’ll get out of the office and see the action firsthand).
- Organize and maintain files (both physical and digital) so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Assist with invoicing, AP/AR basics, and expense tracking.
- Learn and utilize Service Manager for invoicing and operations support.
- Keep schedules, records, and communications on track across multiple teams.
- Pitch in wherever needed — we’re a team that rolls up our sleeves to get it done.
The right person will bring a blend of organizational skills, flexibility, and a willingness to learn. Specifically:
- Intermediate computer skills (especially Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience organizing files and records across multiple systems.
- Familiarity with TX fleet or MSA is a bonus (but not required).
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with both office and field staff.
- Must be flexible with scheduling and comfortable balancing office and travel days.
- A positive, can-do attitude — we value energy, teamwork, and a sense of humor!
- Competitive pay and benefits.
- A dynamic role that keeps you engaged — office work one day, field support the next.
- A company that values your growth, with opportunities to learn new skills (like Service Manager invoicing).
- The chance to be part of a supportive, collaborative team making an impact in the energy sector.
This is not just another admin job — this is a role for someone who’s ready to keep things moving, stay flexible, and bring a little fun to the team while keeping us organized.
