The Service Support Specialist will assist the service department in dispatching, customer service, and completion of generator warranty & new unit start-ups.
- Schedule all national account start-ups assigned to KGE by Generac
- Provide support to our contractors, customers, and factory representatives
- Utilize in-house software to submit appropriate documentation for payment by Generac
- Utilize Generac website to pull credit memos and invoice jobs
- Assist with dispatching technicians to assigned projects
- Support the service team as needed
- Rotate in after hours on-call rotation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop relationships with co-workers & vendors
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills
- High school diploma.
- 1 year experience in customer service, administrative or related field
- On-site position
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
