Position Summary:
The Sales Administrative Assistant supports the Dead River Company Commercial and Residential Business Development Sales Team and our Propane Growth and retention initiatives. This position requires the technical expertise to understand multiple internal operating systems, the analytical expertise to understand highly sensitive pricing structures, and the collaborative spirit and ability to manage complex customer requirements at the highest level.
Essential Functions:
•Internal/External single point of contact for commercial and residential Affinity partner customers in support of the Business Development Sales team
•Supports the daily pricing process to commercial customers during program season.
•Coordinates new customer account openings throughout the Dead River Company footprint in support of the business development sales team
•Coordinates Commercial customer and Residential Affinity Partner needs internally, based on the Business Development Sales Team’s and customers’ requests
•Provides sales support to SalesForce.com
•Manages administrative projects in support of the Business Development sales team and our customers
Experience:
•Minimum 2 years working in administrative assistant role involving customer contact. Prior experience supporting a sales team preferred.
•Other Attributes Required:
•Intermediate to advanced skill in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
•Ability to learn industry systems such as E-3, Destwin and Salesforce
•Solid Business Acumen and mathematical skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to use good judgment in making decisions
•Strong problem-solving skills
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
