About This Job

Overview

Ambrose Solar is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Sales Support team member to assist our growing solar sales department. In this role, you'll be the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps our sales process running smoothly—handling administrative tasks, preparing proposals and contracts, coordinating with finance partners, and supporting both our sales reps and sales leadership.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys organizing information, and takes pride in supporting a team that’s changing the way California powers its homes.


Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary administrative support for the Sales Team, Assistant Sales Manager, and Sales Manager.

Answer incoming calls and provide prompt, courteous support to customers and internal team members.
Request solar designs and prepare professional proposals and contracts for prospective clients.
Coordinate with finance partners as needed to support customer loan applications and ensure accuracy of documentation.
Maintain accurate records and update CRM systems with notes, statuses, and deal details.
Manage scheduling needs, including updating calendars and setting appointments for sales reps.
Ensure “clean deals” by reviewing documentation and confirming all required information is present.
Provide internal follow-up on leads, projects, and open tasks to keep the sales pipeline moving.
Perform daily data entry and reporting tasks to support the sales department.
Participate in company events such as home shows or weekend expos on occasion.
Assist with additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of administrative, sales support, or customer service experience (solar or construction industry experience is a plus)
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with CRM or proposal tools a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional and positive demeanor with a team-oriented mindset
Flexible schedule with willingness to work occasional weekends for special events


Working Environment & Physical Requirements

Office-based role with phone and computer use required throughout the day
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, team-driven work environment
Ability to sit for long periods and occasionally lift packages or event materials (10–20 lbs)

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
