This is a Short-Term assignment (Approx. 3 months) Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the company’s financial operations by learning and executing IFS customer record management, invoicing, and collections processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, resolving discrepancies through collaboration with department leadership, and identifying opportunities for process improvement within the accounts receivable function. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, initiative in problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering excellent internal and external customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
•High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
•1 year of accounts receivable or related experience
•U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
•Experience in driving process improvement
•Superb time management and attention to detail
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Knowledge of computer navigation and Windows-based systems
•Strong mathematical and analytical skills
•Intermediate Excel skills, including use of formulas and pivot tables, or aptitude to learn
•Self-directed learner with initiative to seek answers in the invoicing process
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
•Team-oriented mindset with the ability to meet critical deadlines
•High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Essential Functions
•Maintain a positive and professional work atmosphere
•Develop and apply knowledge of accounts receivable processes
•Secure and protect sensitive customer data
•Gain proficiency in the invoicing process and system functionality
•Provide exceptional service to customers and internal teams
•Handle invoice disputes with customers and internal departments
•Monitor and collect accounts receivable via phone, email, and mail
•Create or update documentation related to system functionality and process flows
•Raise questions and concerns promptly for resolution
•Perform other duties as assigned

•Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer
•Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear

•Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
•If assigned to a manufacturing project, may encounter extended periods of standing, loud noise, and walking
