Accounts Receivable Specialist

Company & Job Summary: Stone Restoration of America is a premiere restoration and waterproofing commercial contractor of building facades and parking decks. A family owned and operated business since 1993. The company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our administration team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s receivables, ensuring timely payments from clients, and maintaining accurate financial records and documents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience working in the construction industry.

Role and Responsibilities :

· Process all monthly billings to include progress/ AIA type billings.

· Communicate with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure proper documentation for billing.

· Process all AR supporting billing documents to include lien waivers and sales tax certificates.

· Reconcile project accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial and job cost reporting.

· Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.

· Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

Skills

· Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles and financial reconciliation.

· Experience in construction accounting and familiarity with industry-specific billing practices.

· Proficiency in accounting software. Foundation software is preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

· Notary Public is a strong plus but not required.

· Payroll experience is a plus.

Qualifications

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable.

Requirements

· Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.

· Ability to talk and hear.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
