Accounts Payable Clerk - Zephyr Repower

Zephyr Wind is purpose-built to support the wind industry from the ground up. SUMMARY:Primary responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: data entry of accounts payable for repower projects, maintaining accounting records, customer billing and accounts receivable support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

· Data entry into Traverse:

o Processing accounts payable invoices timely and accurately. Ensure that receiving paperwork is complete and accurate and matches purchase order. Follow up on any discrepancies.

o Preparing customer billings, sending invoices and following up with payment forecast. Posting customer payments against the correct invoice.

o Input weekly time sheets to correct jobs and labor codes in Traverse.

· Work with vendors and customers to address questions, resolve issues and provide communication.

· Assist the accounting and finance departments in data needed for reconciliations, pay schedules, collections, audit requests and other related matters.

· Work cooperatively with members of other departments and divisions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Good analytical and organizational skills.

- Experience with ERP systems.

- Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrate and maintain positive relationships with all employees and the public.

- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

- Possess problem solving, reasoning, reasonable judgement and analytical skills.

- Ability to comply with appropriate task deadlines.

- Work independently and as a team member as required.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

- 2-plus years of experience in a similar role, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Knowledge of accounting processes and cycles.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
