Essential Job Summary:

•

Will perform full-cycle Accounts Payable services, including but not limited to:

•

Actively participate and meet strict deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures as per company policy

•

Review of invoices for appropriate documentation and approval

•

Coding invoices and batches based on specific naming convention instructions for different types of payments

•

Enter invoices, check requests, and wires into Microsoft Great Plains. Ensure accuracy of coding and input particularly as it relates to expense allocation

•

Maintain files and records (T&E, Wires, Quick Checks, and Invoice Batches) for the purpose of ensuring availability of documentation.

•

Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies in documentation and/or financial information

•

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

•

Assist with annual audit and processes

Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Job Duties:

•

Enter invoices into accounting systems with a high level of accuracy.

•

Ensure that data is entered in a timely and efficient manner.

•

Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

•

Sorting and organizing mail for data entry.

Skills/Attention to Detail, thoroughness, organization, teamwork, pro-active, vendor relationships, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills.

•

Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.

•

High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

•

Related accounting software programs (D365 F&O, Tower, Transman)

•

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

•

High School Diploma or associate degree required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

•

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable

•

Experience with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus

•

Must possess strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

•
10-key by touch

•

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel

•

Good at multi-tasking and meeting multiple deadlines, dependable, and can work effectively with other accounting team members

•

Must have very good interpersonal and communication skills

•

Ability to manage time effectively and work in a changing environment.

•

Possess problem solving skills

Salary Range Minimum

USD $21.84/Hr.

Salary Range Maximum

USD $28.85/Hr.
