The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Clerk is responsible for supporting the Pure AP and AR teams. They will assist in accurately coding invoices received for payment and following-up for appropriate approvals in a timely manner. They will also assist in creating and issuing invoices to customers, including correct upload into customer invoicing systems.
- Enter AP invoices into Pure’s accounting system promptly with correct coding
- Ensure approval of invoices either via Pure’s digital approval system or email; monitor approval status of all outstanding approvals and follow-up as needed
- Create AR invoices in Pure’s accounting system accurately based on ticket details and identify and attach related support for each invoice
- Issue invoices to customers including all required approval information based on their specific invoicing system and requirements
- Reconcile vendor accounts monthly to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly recorded
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A Bachelors degree or other course qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 1+ years experience in an AP, AR or related position- Data entry skills along with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
