We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountis Payable Clerk) to join our growing accounting team. Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, youll play a key role in managing vendor bills, payroll, and month-end processes across multiple entities. - Enter and process vendor bills in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage Accounts Payable for multiple entities, including reviewing vendor statements and applying credits/payments.
- Collect, organize, and reconcile credit card receipts; prepare monthly statements.
- Handle payroll processing for two entities from start to finish.
- Support month-end close and provide financial updates to management.
- Record rent payments and invoice tenants for utilities; coordinate with property managers.
- Assist with general office tasks (phones, filing, scheduling, shredding).
- Support the accounting team by cross-training in accounts receivable and other accounting tasks.
- Prepare monthly IFTA spreadsheets and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree in accounting or related field preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a Team environment, with a strong emphasis on being a Team player.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Competitive salary range of $45,000 $50,000.
