We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-driven General Accounting Specialist to join our Tampa office and support our day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Manage all vendor payments, purchase orders, and invoice processing (Accounts Payable)

•

Generate customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on outstanding balances (Accounts Receivable)

•

Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor/customer accounts

•

Assist with month-end close, general ledger entries, and financial reporting

•

Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies or payment issues

•

Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems

•

Ensure accounting procedures align with company policies and internal controls

Qualifications:

•

2+ years of experience in a similar AP/AR or general accounting role

•

Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

•

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

•

High attention to detail and a proactive approach

•

Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.40 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
