Incab America is looking for an Accounting Support Specialist to join our Accounting Team! Founded in 2017 and headquartered in the DFW area, Incab America's vision is to be the “go to” fiber optic cable company in the Americas, especially here in the USA.
The Accounting Support Specialist performs a range of routine accounting activities such as data entry, maintenance of the general ledger, and preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the
following:
•Supports the day-to-day operational activities for accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
•Assists with internal operational, financial, and compliance audits.
•Manages daily bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, processing transactions, and supporting month-end close activities.
•Maintains productive relationships with all counterparties through proactive and effective communication.
•Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and resolves issues, including coordinating with other teams/functions as needed.
•Takes initiative to learn various systems and processes.
•Responsible for a high-volume of accounting information moving between multiple systems.
•Assists with the development of the annual budget, forecasts, and process improvements.
•Assists with the overall efficient and effective operation of the accounting department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics, preferred.
•3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role required.
•1-3 years’ experience with QuickBooks required.
•1-3 years' experience with accounting in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
•Inventory experience a plus
