What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for developing, selling and servicing accounts while building customer relationships and supplying the company with market information.  

This involves communication through our E-Commerce platform, phone calls, chat system, and email.

Responsibilities

1. Direct communication with our customers

- Quoting customers, following up with customers after quotes are provided, utilizing negotiation skills to win orders, and communicating market information

2. Customer Service

- Timely responses to customer requests, order entry, and order status updates

3. Creating relationships with customers and other departments within Rolled Alloys

- Credit, Field Sales, Internet Sales, Sales Support, Scheduling, Metallurgical Services, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams

4. The ability to communicate effectively through multiple platforms

- Via email, through the website, and phone calls

5. Efficiency with computers and relevant programs

6. Being able to stay organized and flexible in stressful situations

Qualities We Seek

- Attention to detail, analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, and basic math skills

- Time management: capable of organizing, prioritizing, and planning independently

- Good communicator: both verbally and in writing

- Reason and logic to make important decisions

- Passion and enthusiasm for your work

- Personable and positive in a team environment

- Desired Experience: 2 years in a BTB sales role (industrial sector a plus)

Physical Requirements

- Standard office environment, with prolonged periods of sitting and utilizing a computer

- Opportunities may exist that will require travel for face-to-face visits with customers (< 10% travel)
