MISSION OF THE POSITION
The Junior Account Representative supports the COO and commercial leadership team in identifying, developing, and growing customer relationships across the power, oil & gas, and industrial markets. This early-career role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to learn, travel, and gain exposure to high-level commercial decision-makers. The position includes outbound prospecting, customer engagement, CRM support, deal evaluation, commercial proposal preparation, and direct support of the COO in executive-level meetings with major clients and strategic partners.
Essential Duties
Executive-level Support:
Travel with the COO to customer sites, strategic meetings, and industry events (up to 50%).
Prepare briefing materials, account insights, and follow-up documentation for executive engagements.
Support relationship-building with senior commercial decision-makers—procurement leads, plant managers, operations executives, and project developers.
Capture meeting notes, action items, and next steps to ensure high-quality follow-through.
Business Development & Sales Support
Assist in identifying new business opportunities within oil & gas, industrial, and power-generation sectors.
Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry networking.
Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery meetings for senior BD team members.
Assist with accurate equipment, asset, and personnel tracking
Support the preparation of proposals, quotes, presentations, and commercial packages.
Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking opportunities, contacts, and activities.
Participate in customer follow-ups, account touchpoints, and ongoing relationship management.
Act as a responsive point-of-contact for select customers, providing updates and gathering requirements.
Support inside-sales activities such as pricing requests, equipment availability checks, and order documentation.
Assist with post-sales activities including follow-up surveys, invoicing support, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Conduct basic market research on industry trends, competitors, and new project developments.
Provide summary reports to BD and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time or more.
Complete all mandatory safety training and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Program.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Energy Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
0–3 years of experience in oil & gas, LNG/CNG, energy services, equipment leasing, industrial services, or related sectors.
Qualifications
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including executive presence.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
High level of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer focus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), MS Office, and digital communication platforms.
