Job Summary

PSEG Long Island is looking for three Staff Interns for the Finance Department.

This job involves working as Rates & Pricing, Plant Accounting and Financial Systems/Planning & Budgeting team interns.

This position will be Hybrid in the Bethpage, NY Location.

Job Responsibilities

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:

- Rates & Pricing: Assist with analyzing LIPA rates and bills as compared to other utilities.

- Financial Systems, Planning & Budgeting: Assist with analyzing Operations and Maintenance, Capital, and Storm budget to actual variances. Assist in the 2027 budget creation cycle on an ad-hoc basis. Assist with configuration and monthly processing of SAP system.

- Plant Accounting: Assist with journal entries, month-end close, general ledger to sub ledger property records reconciliations, month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

Job Specific Qualifications

Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas:
