16-Month Metallurgy Internship – Gerdau Whitby Mill

About The Role

This position will work out of our Quality Control (QC) department completing various administrative tasks and projects. Join our team as a Metallurgy Intern and immerse yourself in the dynamic environment of a steel mill. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, learn industry best practices, and develop skills in quality control processes.This position will be a full-time, 16-month long internship opportunity.

Gerdau is a major steel manufacturing company, operating in 10 countries, and employing over 30,000 individuals. The North American business divisions (Gerdau Long Steel North America and Gerdau Specialty Steel North America) produce long and special steel products for the agriculture, energy, industrial, automotive, and manufacturing markets. ABOUT G. START: GERDAU’S NEXT GENERATION

Gerdau is seeking university students to participate in our G. Start program. G. Start is a paid internship program with the goal of developing students for future technical and managerial positions.
