Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to interpret blueprints and work with various machinery. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using power tools and welding equipment to create high-quality products. Wage is based on skill set. Full benefits paid by employer after 3 months.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
- Fabricate metal components according to specifications and schematics.
- Utilize press brake machines for shaping metal parts.
- Perform plasma cutting tasks to prepare materials for assembly.
- Rig and lift heavy materials using cranes and forklifts safely.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proven experience as a fabricator or welder with a strong understanding of welding techniques.
- Proficiency in operating power tools and machinery related to metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools for precision work.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment.
- Experience rigging heavy loads safely using cranes or forklifts is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
