Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products, ensuring all work aligns with safety standards and technical specifications. Fabrication test will be given as part of interview process.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and welding tasks.

- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join metals accurately.

- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and structural components.

- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely to move heavy materials and assemblies within the workspace.

- Measure dimensions precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

- Assist in pipe threading, machining, soldering, assembly, and mechanical tasks as needed on various projects.

Skills

- Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices.

- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting,

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.

- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise fabrication work.

- Mechanical knowledge of rigging, pipe threading, machining processes, and assembly procedures.

- Familiarity with manufacturing environments involving ductwork or structural steel fabrication.

- Experience operating forklifts and understanding basic math for measurements and calculations.

- Be able to pay attention to details and listen when given instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 – 49 per week
